The Observer reports on the Africa House Sacramento third annual Ubuntu Dinner fundraiser which was hosted on Oct. 19, 2024. According to the report, The Observer goes on to say that event was successful in ” bringing together community members, leaders, and advocates in support of an ambitious goal: owning a building to serve as a permanent “African house” in Sacramento”.
“We believe it would be a site for telling the African diaspora story. Not just a place to gather, which is very important to celebrate, but to also connect with the culture in every aspect of it”, said Ernest Uwazie, chairman of the board of Africa House Sacramento.”
