In 2018, leaders from African and Diaspora communities in Sacramento founded Africa House, Sacramento, a nonprofit cultural hub dedicated to community development and guided by Ubuntu—shared humanity and collective interest.
We envision a heritage facility and event space for cultural and educational activities. Board members serve three-year terms and meet monthly, with additional committee work as needed.
We invite you to join our Board of Directors and help advance this vision. Applications are reviewed by the board recruitment committee and recommended to the full board for approval.
